Authentic leadership introduces interpersonal and behavioral change skills to foster a continually improving, reduced-waste environment — especially for senior managers, supervisors, continuous improvement coordinators, and team leaders. Lean philosophy can help manage individuals, groups, teams, and departments and make real change within organizations. This authentic leadership course can give participants deeper interpersonal tools to help with that success. While authentic leadership involves some of the same principles as general leadership, it has certain distinctive qualities that must be understood and practiced if leaders are to be successful. And let’s not forget, the understanding of what it takes to be an effective leader has changed – and continues to change. Authentic Leadership is above all a practice. It is a practice designed to: Guide us when navigating change and tension Help us apply awareness and competence rather than habitual reactions Take ownership of our personal experience Determine the appropriate action in every situation During this engaging workshop, you’ll identify your core values, learn how to energize your teams, avoid derailing behaviors, communicate in a compelling way, expand your network and craft a leadership brand statement that tells others what you stand for and what they can expect from your leadership.
