DESCRIPTION:AG APPRECIATION BREAKFAST!\n\nTickets on sale now!\n\nPre-registration required by Thursday\, April 12th at 5 pm\n\nGuest Speaker: Carol Menken-Schaudt\, Olympic Gold Medalist speaking on "The Road to Gold"\n\nCarol grew up in the small town of Jefferson\, Oregon.  She attended Linn Benton Community College where she was part of LBCC's first women's basketball team.  Carol then transferred to Oregon State University where her basketball career really took off.\n\n At OSU\, Carol rewrote the record books.  Her senior year she lead the nation in scoring (averaging 29 points per game)\, and in field goal percentage (averaging 75% shooting).  She played for the U.S. National Team for 3 years\, bringing home a silver medal and two gold medals\, including a gold medal from the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics. \n\nAfter college Carol played semi-pro ball for 6 years in Italy and 2 more in Japan before retiring from basketball.  Today Carol is the Sales Manager at Extra Mile Media the home of HOPE 107.9fm and KWIL 790am.
