DESCRIPTION:Knowing about child sexual abuse makes us more mindful of how we interact with children. This training teaches guidelines for healthy touch and safe\, respectful ways to interact with children. Healthy touch and affection is protective from child sexual abuse. During the training\, you will learn simple and practical actions you can take to protect children. The training combines videos and group discussions. You will receive a certificate of attendance with your name on it. Depending on your profession\, you may be able to earn CEU's for attending. Light refreshments are provided. Childcare is not available. Note: This FREE training includes an OPTIONAL tour of our new ABC House beforehand. The tour is scheduled from 5:00-5:30pm. The training is scheduled from 5:30-6:30pm. If you do not plan on attending the tour\, you may arrive at 5:30pm for the training.
