DESCRIPTION:This nationally recognized\, award-winning training teaches adults how to prevent\, recognize\, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The training uses video modules and facilitator-led discussion. You will hear from survivors and professionals in the field and learn the 5 Steps to Protecting Children. Participants will receive a certificate of completion and some professionals can receive CEU's for participating. Important note: During this training\, we will use an interactive workbook that can be picked up free of charge from the ABC House office in Albany\, Oregon. If you are outside of our area you will be asked to cover the flat rate cost of $7.95 to ship your workbook to you. If you are outside of the area and would like to attend\, please contact us at educator@abchouse.org or 541-926-2203.
