One door prize donation per member per forum. \n \n\n\nAbout Rob\n\nRob Foster is President\, Specialty Alloys and Components of ATI Inc.\, a global producer of high-performance materials for aerospace\, medical\, energy\, and like markets. In this role\, he has strategically positioned SA&C's customer portfolio\, driven record-high operational growth\, and responded to market needs by leveraging customer-funded investment capital.\n\n\n\nPrior to being named President of ATI SA&C in 2023\, Rob served several leadership roles throughout the organization. From September 2012 to 2015\, he served as Vice President\, Finance of ATI Forged Products\, where he led the Finance\, IT\, and Purchasing Departments. In September 2015\, he was named Vice President\, Finance of the High Performance Materials & Components segment. In this role\, he led the Finance and DT Departments of HPMC\, restructuring the titanium operation and idling of the Rowley\, UT titanium sponge facility\; leading the acquisition of Addaero\; the divestiture of the Cast Products Business Unit and the Industrial Forgings businesses in Portland\, IN and Lebanon\, KY.\n\n\n\nWhile he was Vice President\, Finance of the Advanced Alloys & Solutions (AA&S) segment from 2019-2021\, Rob oversaw the transformation of the Specialty Rolled Products business unit and the exiting of the stainless- steel sheet business. In 2021\, he became Vice President\, Finance for both the HPMC and AA&S segments and assumed additional financial responsibilities for ATI's joint venture STAL\, European Distribution\, and Asia sales offices\, along with responsibilities for Supply Chain and Strategic Capital Projects.\n\n\n\nA Certified Public Accountant (inactive status)\, Rob began his career as an Internal Auditor at Allegheny Technologies before joining the audit and mergers and acquisitions practice at Ernst & Young LLP. He then served in accounting and finance leadership roles at Spectrum Control Inc and API Technologies Corp.\n\n\n\nRob earned a BS in Finance & Accounting from Robert Morris University and an MBA from Penn State University. He is a Certified Six Sigma Blackbelt.
