Growing up in California Karen has been involved in production agriculture since childhood. Cofounders of AgriCare, Inc., she and her husband, Tom, have two married adult children (both involved in the family business) and four beautiful grandchildren.
Karen is the CEO/President/Founder/R&D Director of Thomas Creek Farms, LLC, a value-added company located in Jefferson, Oregon that produces healthy snack foods. She is deeply involved in the blueberry industry. She is a member of the USHBC Health Research Committee and a member of the Berry Crops Initiative Board. Karen sits on the Board of Trustees at Corban University in Salem and is Chairman of the Board of ELLS International. Tom and Karen view their business life as one of ministry and missions unto the Lord Jesus and an act of daily worship for His glory. They have been active members of their local Church since 2014, currently involved in teaching/discipleship/counseling within the Church.
Karen holds a B.S. in Animal Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from The Master's College, Santa Clarita, California.
