The first Sunday of June is National Cancer Survivors Day — a day that is celebrated around the globe. This day honors people living with a history of cancer, celebrates their milestones and recognizes those who have supported them along the way. On this day, the Samaritan Cancer Program will host a free in-person event for cancer survivors and loved ones, in Corvallis. The event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Program Overview 1 p.m. – Doors open. Enjoy good food, company and more! 1:45 p.m. – Talks start from the cancer care team, survivors and others. 2:15 p.m. – Explore community cancer resources. 3 p.m. – Program concludes.
