Runaway Pumpkin Half Marathon & 8K

Each year, the Runaway Pumpkin Half Marathon and 8k transforms Cheadle Lake Park into a Halloween-themed Pumpkin Village that is fun for all ages! Whether you are participating in one of the races or are there for moral support, there are plenty of activities for you to enjoy. ? Runners will enjoy scenic views while you wind around the South Santiam River and the colorful autumn countryside while participating in the half marathon or 8k. This is a moderately level, mostly asphalt course (you may encounter dirt and gravel in some sections).
