New OSHA Rules for Businesses

Paloma brings more than 17 years of experience working with the Oregon Legislature. She is OBI's lead on all policy related to labor and employment. Paloma also oversees all administrative and communications activities at OBI. She is an attorney with a wide breadth of knowledge and background in employment and labor issues. In addition to her work on administrative issues, policy and communications, Paloma also acts as OBI's General Counsel. Paloma attended the University of Oregon, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a law degree.
Paloma has been deeply involved in the rulemaking process around Oregon OSHA's proposed rule to create new safety protocols related to COVID-19. As a member of the OSHA Partnership Committee she has engaged directly with the OR-OSHA administrator and other stakeholders. Paloma has analyzed the final draft rules and will provide a summary of those rules and answer questions you may have about the rules.
The Albany Area Chamber will be presenting a series for Free workshops on topics of interest for business and healthy staff. Workshops will be via Zoom - the virtual meeting platform. The workshops are free, but you will need to register to get the link.
