Will Summers was an economist with the Oregon Employment Department for over 22 years, He worked out of the many offices and covered Linn, Benton, Lincoln, Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties during his time with OED. He is a Navy veteran and worked in various manufacturing facilities before earning his Bachelors degree in Economics from Linn-Benton Community College and Oregon State. He is a budget committee member for the Greater Albany School District and the City of Albany; a volunteer for the Greater Albany School Foundation; a volunteer on the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce finance committee; a former board member and current volunteer for the Linn County United Way; a volunteer on the Linn County Elected Official Compensation Committee; and a board member for the Albany General Hospital Foundation. He is also a graduate of Ford Family Foundation Leadership Course - East Linn County Leadership Cohort 4. Will has been married for over 41 years and has two children.
