Leadership Albany is a 9 month (1 full day a month) intensive program, devoted to educating and strengthening community leaders - both emerging and experienced individuals. The program provides in depth insights into the major systems that can contribute to the patterns of life and a variety of issues impacting area residents.
This Cohort meets September 2026 through May 2027. (September is third Thursday, remaining dates are on the second Thursday of the month) General start time 7:45AM.

December 10 - State Government (7:00 AM start time)
January 14 - Local Government
February 11 - Educating Our Future
March 11 - Health Communities
April 08 - Forestry & Agriculture
May 13 - Leadership Skills (day) & Graduation (evening)
Participants commit to attending all sessions and must attend at least 7 of 9 in order to graduate.
Note: Participants must also commit to help plan and lead one of the Leadership dates the following year, putting their Leadership Skills into practice.

Location
Each cohort date starts at the Albany Area Chamber from which we start our monthly fieldtrip.
Fees/Admission
Cost of Tuition is $1000 per participant and includes all materials, meals, facilities, speakers, class sweatshirts and graduation celebration.
