The Scott Lepman Company is seeking an energetic and highly capable Journeyman Plumber to join our growing real estate development team. Unlike traditional service plumbing roles, this position offers the unique opportunity to work within a dynamic development environment. You will be a key player in bringing diverse projects to life, ranging from the intricate restoration of historic buildings to modern new construction developments.

Key Responsibilities

Diverse Installations: Install, maintain, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures in both historic renovations (requiring creative problem-solving) and new residential/commercial builds.

System Design & Reading: Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste/drainage systems.

Compliance: Ensure all work meets local Oregon plumbing codes and safety standards.

Collaboration: Work closely with our development and construction teams to ensure plumbing phases are completed on schedule and integrated seamlessly with other trades.

Project Lifecycle: Manage plumbing tasks from rough-in through to finish trim and final inspection.
Qualifications

Licensing: Valid Oregon Journeyman Plumbing License.

Experience: Proven experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing. Experience with historic retrofitting is a significant plus.

Mindset: An energetic, "can-do" attitude with the ability to adapt to the unique challenges of different architectural styles.

Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew.

Technical Skill: Proficiency in working with various materials (PEX, copper, PVC, cast iron) and modern plumbing technologies.
